Cybercrime is rising exponentially and is causing financial damage to individuals. Crimes that use computer networks or devices to advance other ends also include Phishing Scams, Fraud and identity theft , Spam, Propagation of illegal obscene or offensive content, including harassment and threats, Cyber Extortion, and Data breach.
The Cyber Sangini would preferably be a woman. She will be provided training in basic aspects of cyber security / wellness through an appropriately designed course. After successful completion of the training a certificate will be provided to her. The duration of the course will be approximately 30 hours under the above-mentioned program. It shall be available for all students (with minimum 10th standard qualification) through our State of the Art, Technology driven Solutions,offering expertise in educating online and/or offline through our wide network of more than 5000 CSC Academy Centres providing opportunities for learners across India, particularly inrural and remote regions
The course will cover the precautions which need to be taken by every internet user, reporting of any incident of the cyber-attack, cyber bully, stealing of the data and loss of business / reputation. She will be trained about the existing laws and the framework available to every citizen to protect them from such cyber incidents.
